My Work on HPV
Promoting vaccination and screening against a cancer-causing virus.
I led and supported communications for a range of European initiatives focused on HPV prevention, working at the intersection of policy, public health and awareness. My work contributed to the launch and promotion of key resources such as the ECO Good Practice Guide on HPV Vaccination, published in April 2026, translating complex evidence into clear, accessible messaging for policymakers, stakeholders and the wider public.I developed and executed multi-channel campaigns around key moments, including HPV Awareness Day and European Immunisation Week, with a strong focus on implementation, equity and countering misinformation. This included social media toolkits, press materials, newsletters and stakeholder outreach, ensuring consistent and impactful messaging across audiences.Alongside content creation, I supported the communication of high-level events, including European Parliament launches and regional meetings in Southeast Europe, helping position HPV prevention as a policy priority and reinforcing the link between vaccination, screening and cancer prevention outcomes.
Website Development for EU&U
Getting more young people into EU politics.
In 2025, I supported the EU&U team in the development of a new website using the Squarespace platform, working closely with their communications team to translate their content into a clear and structured digital experience.My role focused on organising and shaping the website architecture, defining the navigation, and ensuring that content was presented in a coherent and accessible way. This included structuring key sections such as the manifesto, blog, events and organisational pages, and aligning them with the organisation’s communication goals.The result was a website that better reflects EU&U’s identity and makes it easier for users to explore content, engage with their work, and understand their primary mission of helping young people across Europe in developing their political knowledge of the European institutions.
An Innovative EU4Health Project
Working within an EU-funded environment.
The PROTECT-EUROPE project allowed me to support communications, visual design and digital dissemination for a major European EU4Health initiative focused on HPV cancer prevention and vaccination uptake across Europe.My work included the development of communication materials and social media assets to support campaigns, events and stakeholder engagement across multiple countries and audiences. This involved creating visual content, adapting messaging for different channels and ensuring consistency across the project’s communication outputs.I also contributed to the design and production of the project’s final report, helping structure, organise and visually present a set of recommendations offered from the experts and resulting from two years of work. The work combined editorial coordination of an external designer, layout support and visual refinement to ensure the final publication aligned with the project’s objectives and branding.Alongside this, I supported wider digital and design-related activities: the project can count on a comms toolkit developed together with several project partners, a video created in collaboration with an external production house, and a project "Hub" that I led the development of, to store the project's downloadable assets and final outputs for future use.
